WHEELCHAIR ART PERFORMANCE

The Danish artist Madelin Wilian performs with 10 wheelchair users in a collective artwork- A graphic dance where wheelchair users create colorful traces through movement.

The work challenges ideas of participation, the body, and value - each imprint a living mark of presence and coexistence.

Developed from Madelin Wilian’s earlier work, “Tracks of Life and Dream Bubbles” (Artmatter Week Copenhagen, 2025), created with residents from Ørestad Care Center, and now expanded into an international performative context in Basel.

Afterwards, a concert with Johnny Mancini, himself a wheelchair user. Come and experience art and music on wheels!

Johnny Mancini the sleazy Italian's one-man-show is a weird mix of New wave, Doo Wop and Midi Trash, he calls "New Wop". His surreal appearance and dreamy vocals might remind you of a Twin Peaks character.
