NIKA TIMASHKOVA (Ukraine) Vernissage Exposition:  Cargobar will host works by Nika Timashkova that reflect on the sea as a poetic, political, and ecological space—shaped by both conflict and care. The starting point is conversations and memories surrounding the Sea of Azov in Ukraine. The expansive installation interweaves geopolitical realities, ecological fragility, and personal narratives, understanding water as a carrier of memory—a presence that is both vulnerable and resilient.

In der Cargobar sind ab Juni Werke von Nika Timashkova zu sehen, die das Meer als poetischen, politischen und ökologischen Raum reflektieren – geprägt von Konflikt und Fürsorge. Ausgangspunkt bilden Gespräche und Erinnerungen rund um das Asowsche Meer in der Ukraine. Die raumgreifende Installation verwebt geopolitische Realitäten, ökologische Fragilität und persönliche Narrative und begreift Wasser als Träger von Erinnerung – als eine zugleich verletzliche und widerstandsfähige Präsenz.
