Adele Sauros Basel Smash

Formed in 2023 in Basel, Switzerland, Adele Sauros Basel Smash brings together internationally accomplished musicians from Finland, France, Spain and the USA. The group performs original compositions by Adele Sauros from her fifth solo album No Room For Hesitation (Bopcat Records, 2025), inspired by her time living in Basel. The music is reflective and melodic, blending Nordic lyricism with the energy and edge of American jazz. The band name “Basel Smash” playfully references Adele’s favourite cocktail in the city—a symbol for the mix of depth and spontaneity in their music.
